BEFORE: It's easy to find things wrong with this room even when there's not much in it! Lumpy carpet, an isolated light fixture totally inadequate to illuminate the room, and sickly colors. This is a small home, but watch how we give it the feeling of being spacious, light, and comfortable. |

AFTER: Accent colors and patterns, strategic lighting placement, and bright window treatments create a breezy fresh and floral environment. Can you believe it's the same place? |

BEFORE: Is this home or a hotel room? Bland and boring. |

AFTER: Now the entryway says "Hello" in a cheery way. Interesting and artistic accents draw you into the room with convenient seating and an area rug. |

BEFORE: Unexciting, uninteresting, uninviting. |

AFTER: The wood floor gives this dining nook some real practicality. The art and wall painting add a Parisian bistro flair. |

BEFORE: It looks like the lumpy carpet is trying to sneak into the kitchen and run down the hallway onto the ugly vinyl flooring. No color, no accent, no interest. |

AFTER: The living area furnishings really define the space. The hardwood flooring unifoes the living room, kitchen and hallway. The dark contrasting color on the pillar leading to the hallway adds further character, and accent accessories on the walls add interest. |

BEFORE: This way to the bedrooms! PLEEZE! Don't make me go! The carpet is there! The walls make me feel like I'm being sucked into a marshmallow! |

AFTER: A golden hardwood highway leads to the garden of earthly delights. I see interesting things on the walls and in the rooms. Can I see more? |

BEFORE: This gives new meaning to "The Necessary Room". Although fitted with the expected conveniences, an outhouse would have more character. |

| AFTER: The redesign has carried the color theme and floral freshness of the rest of the home into the bathroom. This is a room to luxuriate in! |

BEFORE: This is a bedroom before the redesign. Military style. Basic training. |

AFTER: You are escorted to an exotic French resort. Notice that the window and bedstead treatments don't have to be totally symetrical to be pleasing to the eye. |

BEFORE: Okay. I admit I wasn't always the best photographer. This is part of a closet, and part of another bedroom. I think you get the idea that it needs a little something. |

AFTER: The bedroom illustrates that all wall colors don't have to be the same, but they DO have to tie the color scheme together. Also, a close arrangement of furniture and accent items doesn't have to look cluttered. The room can remain interesting and inviting at the same time. This bedroom is still consistent with the rest of the home's theme despite a significantly different selection of colors. |
